In the Summer of 2019, I worked for Camp Twin Lakes at the Wil-A-Way location in Winder, GA.  Camp Twin Lakes is an adaptive summer camp that services children with disabilities and life challenges.  They believe that camp is "where challenges become triumphs." As a part of program staff, I facilitated various activities such as Arts and Crafts, Boating, Archery, Mad Science, Swimming, and Fishing.  All of our activities were adaptable for children of all abilities, and it was our job as staff to ensure that all children had an opportunity to participate and were encouraged to face their fears.
