In the spring of 2019, I volunteered three afternoons a week at North Rowan Elementary School in their 3rd-5th grade PACCS classroom.  When I was their, I would assist the teachers with leading an interactive social studies lesson as well as playing games to work on spelling words.  I had the opportunity to observe and practice teaching children with autism and learning disabilities.
